By using the Site, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

HOUSE OF MIRRORS
Email: info@enterhouseofmirrors.com
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
Order information: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and the items you buy.
Payment information: payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
Communications: messages you send us, including customer service requests, returns, and direct messages or comments on social media.
Marketing preferences: your email address and consent if you sign up for our emails.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:
your IP address and approximate location based on it;
your browser type, device type, and operating system;
the pages and products you view, links you click, and the page that referred you;
the date and time of your visit; and
information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Sections 4 and 5).
Information from other sources
We may receive information from payment processors (such as order confirmation and fraud checks), shipping carriers (such as delivery status), our website platform, and Meta (Instagram and Facebook) when you interact with our ads or Instagram Shop.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
process and deliver your orders, send order updates, and handle returns and exchanges (to perform our contract with you);
respond to your questions and provide customer support;
prevent fraud and keep the Site secure;
send marketing emails, where you have signed up or where the law allows (you can unsubscribe at any time);
measure and improve the Site, our products, and our advertising;
show you and others relevant ads on Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms (see Section 5); and
comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights.
Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions). Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (orders and delivery); legitimate interests (security, running and improving our business, and measuring advertising, balanced against your rights); legal obligations (tax and accounting records); and consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies where required). You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:
keep the Site working, remember your cart, and keep it secure (essential);
understand how visitors use the Site (analytics); and
measure and improve our advertising (marketing).
Your choices. Where required, we show a cookie banner so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice by clearing your cookies and revisiting the Site, or through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect parts of the Site, such as the cart. We also respond to browser signals such as Global Privacy Control where the law requires it.
5. Advertising and the Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel on the Site, a tool from Meta Platforms that helps us measure the results of our ads and show our ads to people who may be interested in our products. When the pixel is active, it may send Meta information about your visit, such as pages viewed, products viewed, items added to a cart, checkout starts, purchases, and browser and device identifiers. Meta uses this data under its own privacy policy, including to match visits to its users and to personalize ads.
We may use this data to create audiences (for example, people who viewed a product) and to run ads to them.
How to opt out of targeted advertising:
use the choices in our cookie banner;
adjust your ad preferences in your Instagram or Facebook account settings;
use industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (US and Canada) or Your Online Choices (Europe); or
email us at info@enterhouseofmirrors.com.
6. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run our business:
Service providers that work on our behalf, including our website and online-store platform (Squarespace), payment processors (e.g. Squarespace Payments, Stripe, PayPal), shipping carriers and customs brokers, and our email provider (Google/Gmail). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Advertising and social platforms, such as Meta, as described in Section 5.
Legal and safety reasons, if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, sale, or similar transaction.
With your consent, or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some laws, including certain US state privacy laws, treat sharing data with advertising partners through cookies and pixels as a “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. To the extent that applies, you can opt out as described in Sections 5 and 10.
7. International transfers
We sell to customers worldwide. Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than where you live. Where required, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or rely on other lawful transfer mechanisms.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy. For example, we keep order and tax records for the period required by law (typically several years), marketing information until you unsubscribe, and customer service messages for as long as needed to resolve your request and handle any follow-up. After that, we delete or anonymize the information.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and relying on payment providers that follow industry security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:
access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
correct inaccurate information;
delete your information;
receive your information in a portable format;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent where we rely on it;
opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising; and
not be treated unfairly for exercising your rights.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and similar regions. You have the rights above under laws such as the GDPR. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
California and other US states. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may request to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
Canada. You may access and correct your personal information, withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), and ask questions or make a complaint about our practices. Residents of Quebec have additional rights under Quebec law, such as the right to request information about how automated or profiling technologies are used and to have information de-indexed or deleted in certain cases. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Australia and other regions. You may request access to and correction of your personal information and may complain to your local privacy regulator.

13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top, and for significant changes we will take additional steps where the law requires, such as notifying you or asking for your consent.
